B.O.B. #1

When I have children, I plan to give them the opportunities i did not get the chance to take while growing up. For instance, I never got to play hockey growing up, so i will urge my kid to give it a shot and hopefully he/she follows through with it.  Its odd but i think it would be cool to see how your kid would grow up if you gave them the opportunities you didn't have as a kid. In a way, its reliving your life, just through another person. Also, I want my kid(s) to be independent. Most parents now days hand everything to their kids and don't expect anything in return. I grew up in a family where hard work pays off, and if you want something, you earn it.  My children will live by that.
