The things I do.
I invest a significant amount of myself in this job on a daily basis. I don't look for recognition and I don't want to be noticed. I want to quietly do the very best that I can for those that matter most. You. Please understand that I see what you have to offer, even when there are times that you don't see your own potential. I wouldn't spend every hour of my day thinking about all of you and allowing myself to become emotionally attached if it wasn't worth it. This time of year is always the most difficult because about 200 to 300 of you will be moving on. I may shed some tears, but they are tears of pride because I know how hard many of you worked to get to where you are. Some of you have made the necessary sacrifices in order to complete high school. Some of you have breezed through without a challenge and can't wait for the opportunities that await you. We still have a few more weeks together and I want you to make these the best days of your high school career. If any of you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask. I'll be around this old place for another 20 years or so.
