If and when I raise children, I'll never... 

If I have children I'm going to avoid doing the worst thing possible, parents forcing their ideals and beliefs on their kids one-sidedly. I have many complaints about how people raise their children, I mean who doesn't, but it actually pains me to see when kids believe in completely stupid ideas just because their parents told them a one sided story. I know it will be an extremely difficult practice to provide as much information as possible and allow my kids to make decisions based on it, but I plan to do so as much as humanly possible. I obviously also know that at a young age it would be impossible to allow them to make all their own decisions, but to make sure I only force the bare minimum to allow as much individualism for them as possible. I'm really glad my parents did this for me and I can't imagine not doing it for my kids!
